The Vox TC35C2 Tony Bruno 35-Watt Combo is a rare and sought-after amplifier that merges Vox’s iconic chime with boutique American amp design. Created in collaboration with legendary builder Tony Bruno, this 2x12 combo delivers 35 watts of pure tube-driven tone with exceptional touch sensitivity, dynamic response, and a broad range of clean-to-overdriven sounds. Its dual Celestion speakers provide rich projection and depth, making it an excellent choice for stage or studio.

In the early 2010s, Vox partnered with Tony Bruno, a boutique amp builder from New Jersey known for hand-wired, harmonically rich, and touch-sensitive designs. Bruno had already built a cult following among professional players (Lenny Kravitz, Mark Knopfler, Carlos Santana, and others have used his creations), and Vox brought him in to inject that boutique flavor into a special line of production amps.

The TC35C2 was the flagship of this collaboration — a 35-watt, dual Celestion 12-inch combo that combined Vox’s signature chime and articulation with Bruno’s American boutique sensibilities. Built with high-grade components, custom transformers, and hand-picked circuitry tweaks, this amp delivers a mix of sparkling cleans, thick midrange, and smooth breakup that works equally well for vintage rock, blues, or modern edge-of-breakup tones.
