Unbranded Figured Walnut & Maple Bass Body & Neck Unfinished Project, Excellent Condition

This unbranded figured walnut and maple bass body and neck is in excellent condition and is an unfinished project.  The bass was started by a friend of the shop, who is both an artist and a custom instrument builder.  It is a great start for your own custom bass project.

Both the body and neck are crafted from figured walnut and maple and are unfinished, ready for your custom build. The body measures 20.5" long with a 12-3/4" lower bout, 10-1/2" upper bout, 7-3/4" waist, and 1-1/2" depth. The neck features a shallow C profile with a 34" scale length, 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with a 12" radius, and a nut width of 1-5/8". Neck thickness is .781" at the first fret and .921" at the twelfth. The truss rod is new, and the control cavity is in excellent condition and already shielded. Total weight is 6 lbs 12.5 oz.
