This 2021 Sola Sound by DAM SS-03 Tone Bender MKIV, finished in the striking Kawasaki Green and numbered Serial #31, is a stellar collaboration between Macari’s/Sola Sound and David Main of DAM. These MKIV units are built in small batches with hand-selected germanium transistors, period-correct wiring, and the obsessive tuning that has made DAM one of the most respected fuzz builders alive.

The MKIV delivers thick, saturated fuzz with tight low end, ripping midrange bite, and endless sustain—more aggressive than a MKII, smoother than a Supa, and incredibly responsive to your guitar’s volume knob. It excels at classic British rock, psychedelic lead tones, doom textures, and high-gain riffing without losing articulation.
