These National guitars are quality guitars that are fun to have around. They are awesome couch guitars - they sound great unplugged.
The guitar sets up well, thanks to the unique bolt on neck design.
The pickup is a little weak, but floating a better unit is easy if that's what you're after.
The guitar is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs to the neck or body. One potentiometer was changed out. The original one is in the case and it testes as failed.
The original output jack connection is still there, the old Amphenol screw-on type, but a standard 1/4" jack was professionally added to the usual lower-bout position.
The neck is straight and the frets are in great shape.
The guitar comes with the original chipboard case, which is also in excellent condition.
Shipping policy:
Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com. Less than 2% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
