Maguire 2005 Meridian Double Cutaway Koa Top w/ Original Case, Excellent

This Maguire 2005 Meridian Double Cutaway Koa Top in natural is in excellent condition.  It is a beautiful piece that shows incredible attention to detail, and it plays perfectly as well.  The undersized body contributes to the light weight - just 7 pounds, 5.5 ounces.

The top is AAAA Hawaiian Koa over mahogany wings with a premium Gabon ebony fretboard at a 12" radius. Frets are 22 jumbo Jescar stainless steel. The neck is mahogany with a slim C profile and abalone diamond inlays. Both humbuckers have gold covers; the neck reads 8.03k and the bridge reads 8.99k. The bridge is a Gotoh Tune-O-Matic with a stop bar tailpiece, and tuners are Schaller originals.

Everything here is original — finish, tuners, nut, bridge, saddles, switch, switch tip, pickups, wiring, solder joints, pots, output jack, knobs, tailpiece, and control cavity cover are all unaltered. The control cavity cover is custom cut from the same piece of back wood. There are no repairs of any kind to the neck, fretboard, or frets. We set it up here in the shop; action is low at 2/32" on the first string and 2/32" on the sixth string at the 12th fret. Frets are in excellent condition.

The original Ameritage case with Maguire logo is in excellent condition with no smell. Strings are 10-46.
