This Little Walter 50-watt head delivers boutique tube tone with a refined aesthetic, housed in a custom hardwood cabinet that sets it apart from standard tolex builds.  I am assuming that this head was made in 2010, perhaps 2011 as the transformer is dated to 2009.

Known for their hand-wired circuits and studio-grade clarity, Little Walter amps are favored by professional guitarists and pedal steel players for their dynamic response and rich harmonic content.

This example is loaded with vintage tubes, adding warmth, headroom, and authentic vintage-style compression that modern tubes often fail to fully capture.  The tubes also last for years versus modern tubes that wear out quickly.  The tubes have been tested.  Vintage tubes carry no warranty, of course.

Condition is excellent, showing minimal wear with all electronics functioning as they should. The craftsmanship of the hardwood cab elevates both the look and resonance, giving this amp the character of a high-end custom build while retaining the signature Little Walter sound.

It appears that few examples were made with this feature set: 50 watts with a 25/50 watt output switch and an effects loop.

Shipping policy:

When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping.  These cases require the buyer to re-install them on delivery - it is very easy with this amp, and we label them so you know exactly where to put them.  We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure.  Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently.  Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping.  We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
