Steve Klein is one of America's celebrated luthiers, a maker of fine and unique instruments.
This piece is hand-signed, as is the neck heel. It is not one of the Made in Japan models that sell for a good deal less.
The ergonomic design turns heads, but it is extremely functional as well. There is great balance to the guitar when standing, and when sitting is sits perfectly.
The headstock design and tuning machine layout is pure genius. Tuning the guitar is a breeze and it feels more accurate as well as you can very simply reach and turn them without contorting.
The redwood body is light, but as Steve mentions in a video out there that discusses the inspiration for the sTele, redwood has a really high stiffness to weight ratio. You can tell that it is very resonant if you tap on it.
The zero fret and some pristine fretwork allows for low action - the guitar plays like actual butter.

Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.
