The JHS 3 Series Fuzz is a modern, affordable take on classic fuzz tones, offering versatile textures from smooth, vintage-style saturation to aggressive, gated distortion. Made in the USA, this pedal is part of JHS’s streamlined 3 Series lineup, designed to deliver high-quality tone with simple, intuitive controls. It features Volume, Fuzz, and Bias knobs, along with a Fat toggle that enhances low-end response and thickness, making it suitable for single-coils, humbuckers, or even bass.

This example is in excellent condition and functions perfectly, with no modifications. The Bias control allows players to dial in everything from velcro-like sputter to full, sustaining fuzz tones, while remaining responsive to the guitar’s volume knob—just like classic germanium and silicon fuzz circuits.

The 3 Series was launched by JHS to make high-quality U.S.-built pedals accessible to more players. The Fuzz model draws inspiration from classic Fuzz Face and Tone Bender circuits, redesigned with modern reliability and expanded tonal control.

At Mahar’s Vintage Guitars, each pedal is tested, photographed, and accurately described. We buy, sell, and accept trades on vintage and boutique gear. Looking for the perfect pairing?
