Guild Starfire III 1966 Sunburst

An unsung hero in the electric guitar world, especially beautiful in this rare sunburst finish!  This one is also fun to play acoustically, thanks to the fully hollow body.

The guitar appears to be all original with the exception of a refret.  It seems as though someone did take care of the guitar despite the fact that it looks like they played it daily for years, judging by the fretboard pitting.  All that said, it plays really well.

There are a couple places where the binding was repaired.  Guild guitars from the period do suffer from binding shrinkage, so this is not surprising.

Pots date to 1966.  Pickups are original.  The neck has room for future truss rod adjustment.
