This all-original, no excuses Gretsch White Falcon soared in yesterday and caused quite a fuss!  If you're looking for one of these, this is the one - no weirdness, repairs, changes, nada!

The guitar shows checking and wear that jives with its age and adds to its mystique.  The binding is holding together nicely, perhaps Gretsch's sparkle binding is better than the white materials they us3ed at the time, which often degrades and crumbles.  The tuners show some oxidation but they work well.  The pad on the back is in excellent condition.  The plate underneath shows the Gretsch logo and patent numbers.  The plate has shrunk and someone removed screws to keep it from negatively impacting the guitar - these are the only parts missing from the guitar, and two original screws still hold the plate in place.

Frets are original and show some wear and were perhaps leveled at one time, but they are playable as is.  The zero fret allows for super low action.  The truss rod wrench is included, and adjustment is still available in both directions.

The stereo electronics are in their original state and are a bit whacky, but there are workarounds, and a rewire doesn't seem to hurt the value much, if at all.

The original case is in great shape.

Just look at this guitar!!!
