This GigRig G2 was sold to me by a friend who never implemented it into his rig. It appears to be virtually unuised.
The GigRig G2 is a true-bypass looping and switching system designed to solve the core problems of complex pedalboards: signal degradation through long chains, noise accumulation, and the physical impossibility of hitting multiple switches simultaneously. It does not color your signal — its value is in routing and preserving the tone you already have, letting each pedal in your chain perform as if it were the only pedal connected. If you run more than a few effects and care about signal integrity, this is the category of tool that changes how a pedalboard functions.
The GigRig G2 sits at the top of GigRig's non-MIDI switcher lineup and established the company as a serious alternative to custom-built switching rigs. It allows the user to rearrange pedal order on the fly, switch amp channels, and program preset combinations of effects that can be recalled with a single footswitch press. GigRig built the G2 around a compact form factor that does not sacrifice functionality — it handles tasks that previously required rack-mounted systems or expensive custom wiring. It has earned a strong reputation among working guitarists and touring players who need reliability and flexibility without a large format rig.
The G2 uses buffered and true-bypass loop switching with a steel enclosure built for stage use. Its architecture allows complex routing scenarios — series loops, parallel loops, amp channel switching — managed through an intuitive interface that GigRig designed to be operable without consulting the manual. The compact chassis keeps pedalboard real estate manageable while delivering routing capability that scales to professional complexity.
This example is in near mint condition with all original accessories included. There are no issues to report. This is a clean, well-preserved unit that presents as essentially new.
