I just picked up this beautiful J-50 and am listing it quickly so I won’t keep it! I have a restored ‘51, and this one comes really, really close, even with the adjustable bridge that my ‘51 doesn’t have.
The coveted nut width of 1 11/16” is present on this guitar.
The factory double pickguard look is just awesome. The pickguards are lifting very slightly, but they’re still on solidly and this can easily be addressed.
Original tuners with one replaced bushing, original frets, bridge, saddle, finish throughout. I can’t determine if it has had a neck reset, but it plays and sets up perfectly, so it definitely doesn’t need one.
No cracks anywhere.
There is a plugged output jack hole on the lower bout. Non original hardshell case included.
You’ll be challenged to find one that plays and sounds better!
See pics for overall condition.
No sales tax for customers outside California.
