Gibson 2002 Les Paul Junior Sunburst w/ Hard Case Excellent

The Les Paul Junior is a guitar that every player can own  — one P-90, one wraparound bridge, one volume, one tone, all mahogany, no maple cap, no binding, no frills, loads of tone. Every specification decision points toward the same goal: get out of the way and let the pickup and the wood do the work. The 2002 reissue follows that template faithfully, and this example is all original in excellent condition throughout.

The P-90 reads 8.01k — correct and healthy, in the warm, focused range that puts it squarely in PAF-adjacent territory for a single-coil. The P-90 into an all-mahogany slab body with a wraparound bridge is one of the most specific and irreproducible tonal combinations in electric guitar — punchy, articulate, and dynamically alive in a way that humbuckers and heavier mahogany-plus-maple constructions simply don't replicate.

Original wiring and solder joints intact. Slim 60s mahogany neck at .812" at the first fret and .885" at the twelfth, rosewood fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays at 12" radius, 22 frets, compensated wraparound bridge, Gibson Deluxe tuners, black pickguard and reflector knobs. Action set at 2/32" on both strings at the twelfth fret. At 8 lbs 2.5 oz this is a well-weighted slab mahogany instrument.

The guitar set up easily with little effort required.  There is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments.  The frets show very little wear.  There are a couple dings here and there, nothing drastic, see pics.
