We recently traded in some guitars that you wouldn't normally find here, this is one of them!

While the pointy guitars do seem out of place here, I guess it makes sense in a way.  At one point, my old music store was a really successful Ibanez dealer, and we had something in stock for everyone.  History repeats itself!

I did a good bit of poking around out there as we prepared to list this one.  It departs from several means of placing the model.  The neck heel, for instance, says RG-750.  However, the pickup configuration is that of an RG-760. and several Ibanez forum posts reference this finish type and pickup config as a 760.  It seems that this might have been meant for overseas dealers as most of the chatter I found was from the UK.

An area I am foggy on with these is the pickups.  There seems to have been some soldering done in the control cavity, and I'm not sure if this is due to a pickup swap or just some rewiring/maintenance.  The bridge pickup is a DiMarzio DP161, and the neck and mid pickups are not branded anywhere.

The neck is in excellent condition with a tested and functional truss rod.  The body is in nice condition with one dinged area on the lower bout's front edge as well as a touched-up chip on the back edge in the same area. Equipped with a Licensed Floyd Rose tremolo. Ibanez hardshell case included.
