Here's a unique build.  It was custom ordered from Fender with a particular vibe and feature set in mind.  It is as the previous owner described, with a beefy neck (but not extremely chunky) and killer tone.  I always like it when opaque color Teles have ash bodies too - ash is my preference for Telecasters and solid colors are usually alder.

Here is the text from the listing of the original owner:

"I had this beautiful guitar spec'd out and built in 2018 to mostly* match Danish Pete Honore's iconic purple Tele, and to match the "Andertons Spec" model specifications to the same effect.

I say "mostly" because there are a few differences to my guitar, all of them I feel for the better.

1- I've upgraded the pickups that came with the guitar to Josefina Campos hand wound set including a broadcaster bridge (flat pole pieces, ~10k output) and a Twisted Tele neck. (The originals pickups have moved on.) It can sing with almost Stratty crystal cleans in the neck thanks to the Twisted Tele neck, and the bridge...oh that bridge...goes from country twang at 6-7 to full on rock grind at 9-10!

2- This guitar features Fender's journeyman relic body (the heavy relics, like Pete's and the Andertons models, just aren't my personal thing). But it does have a heavy relic neck, so the comfort of the rolled shoulders and like-home worn in feeling that Fender has absolutely nailed on these necks is all here for you. Best of all worlds, and it doesn't look incongruous, just like a guitar that's been played like heck up and down the neck, but not had its body dragged by a truck around the lower east side of New York City.

3- This guitar came with a treble bleed cap that I snipped out to suit my personal taste.

4- I replaced the pickup switch cap with a vintage Bakelite one. Why? I think I ordered it off Reverb in an Ambien fever dream one night. Never regretted it.

The spec sheet pictured rightly says this guitar is spec'd with a Tele U shaped neck. Note that this is not like a huge Nocaster U. It has a slightly flatter back with full shoulders. It feels phenomenal -- not to mention a bit more manageable -- in the hand.

The guitar’s body sorted for lightweight Ash, bringing the comfort and tonal clarity you’d want from that spec.

Comes with the proper Tweed case that's got a couple scuffs and small tears I tried to picture as best I could. Also have most of the case candy and the COA and shop floor traveler, as pictured. Note I don't have the Fender Custom Shop guitar strap that came with it."
