This guitar completely kills as-is, but it is the perfect platform for your mod of choice - add a neck pickup, tweak the electronics, etc to your hearts content while enjoying the Custom Shop quality of the neck and body.
Featuring a faded "Nocaster Blonde" translucent finish, relic'd ever so slightly with signs of being played, it's definitely been shown some real love. Featuring a 2006 Fender Custom Shop Seymour Duncan NECK, with a very comfortable D shape, that just feels right with medium frets and tons of life left! Something I noticed immediately while disassembling and reassembling this particular guitar was the fit of the Fender Custom Shop Seymour Duncan neck into the neck pocket, as close to a perfect fit as one could possibly get, no wonder this guitar resonates and sustains as wonderfully as it does.
The Seymour Duncan Custom Shop hand wound Esquire pickup that was installed sounds righteous and reads @ a whopping 27.72dc resistance, complete with brass bottom plate. The wiring harness, pots, and caps was replaced with a complete "Vintage Inspired Pickups" brand setup. This one is ready to rock as it is and comes with a mint Fender Tweed G&G case complete with hang tags, shop floor traveler and Custom Shop COA (came with the body), keys, black Esquire pickguard and the ashtray cover!
