Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster "Standard" Japan model #027-2702 ST-72 EX/IM Sonic Blue 1989-1990

I purchased this Fender 1989-1990 Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster from a YouTuber who posted several early Malmsteen models, including this one.  You can find the video by Googling it.  I'll just describe the guitar for what it is now, because it isn't as it was when he made the video.

The change to the guitar is the pickguard - a custom built, loaded assembly from 920Dcustomshop.com.  The pickups are DiMarzio HS-3s and an HS-4.

The rest of the guitar appears to be original and in excellent condition with some cool looking yellowing to the sonic blue finish.  The original frets are in excellent condition. The neck is straight and the guitar set up extremely well with 10-46 Ernie Ball strings.  There is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments, if needed.

The case appears to be original.
