This is a 2009 Fender Custom Shop Custom Deluxe Stratocaster neck in flamed maple with factory-installed Fender locking tuners. The '65 C profile, 9.5" radius, and 22-fret layout combine to deliver the snap and clarity associated with a one-piece maple neck — bright attack, tight low end, and good note separation. This neck is ready to drop into a Strat body build or replacement project.

The Custom Deluxe Stratocaster was produced by Fender's Custom Shop in Corona, CA starting in 2009 as a production-level Custom Shop model, built to tighter tolerances and with premium materials compared to the standard American series. The "Custom Dlx Strat" designation and "Tony IV" marking on this neck confirm its Custom Shop origin and place it in a run with lightly flamed maple necks as a standard feature. These necks are sought after for upgrades and builds because they combine genuine Custom Shop construction with a familiar, player-friendly spec sheet.

The neck is flamed maple throughout — neck and fretboard are the same piece of figured maple, finished in the original factory finish. The '65 C profile measures .831" at the first fret and .976" at the twelfth, a comfortable medium C that suits a wide range of playing styles without being too chunky or too thin. Scale length is standard Fender 25.5". The 9.5" fretboard radius is a modern-feeling departure from vintage specs and handles bends cleanly without fretting out. Twenty-two frets extend the range a half-step beyond the standard 21-fret Strat configuration. The included Fender locking tuners are original to the neck.

Condition is near mint throughout. There are no repairs, no cracks, no finish checking, and no modifications to the headstock for the tuners. The fretboard shows no wear. Frets are near mint with no leveling or repairs performed.
