This 1967 Fender Princeton Reverb is a classic Black Panel amplifier that perfectly captures the golden-era Fender sound—lush, three-dimensional cleans, sweet natural breakup, and one of the most musical reverb and tremolo circuits ever built. Compact, expressive, and endlessly inspiring, the Princeton Reverb has long been a favorite for studio players and stage musicians who want authentic vintage tone without excessive volume.

These amps are simply on fire, and justifiably so.  They're the perfect size and volume for most players.  People are even gigging with Princetons.  They're light and portable.  They have vibrato and reverb.  Of course there are other amps out there, but the Princeton Reverb just works for so many.

When the amp arrived here the only change was the power cable.  Things weren't sounding as good as they could, so I did a cap job - jus the electrolytic caps. The original parts will come with the amp.  I cleaned the tube sockets, pots and jacks.  The tubes were also tested - there are some sweet vintage tubes in this one!

The transformers and speaker are original, as is the tolex and grillecloth.  The original footswitch is included.

This Princeton Reverb presents in excellent vintage condition with far less than average wear and it performs exactly as a great Black Panel should—rich, articulate, and inspiring.

As with all amplifiers at Mahar’s Vintage Guitars, it has been fully inspected, photographed accurately, and evaluated for performance and authenticity.

We buy, sell, and take trades.

Shipping policy:

When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping.  These cases require the buyer to re-install them on delivery - it is very easy with this amp, and we label them so you know exactly where to put them.  We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure.  Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently.  Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping.  We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
