Collectors are flocking to the early Made in Japan Fender reissues like this TL-52 from 1985 or 6. As a '52 reissue, it sports a black, 5-screw pickguard and flat head screws throughout.
The guitar shows some fretboard wear and has changes strap buttons, otherwise it is all original and in exceptionally clean condition.
The frets show little wear and the truss rod was checked to make sure there is room for future neck relief adjustments.
The tweed case appears to be newer than the guitar. It just seems too clean to be original.
