Fender 1966 Princeton Reverb Vintage Black Panel Amp, All Original, Near Mint

No sales tax for US customers outside California.

This Fender 1966 Princeton Reverb in black is in near mint condition.  The amp is 100% original down to the last screw and solder joint - and likely the US made tubes as well!  It includes the original footswitch and cover too.  This is the ultimate collector's package.  The amp does work - I ran it up slowly on my Variac and tried it out.  However, I do not recommend extended use without a cap job.  I can do the work prior to shipping for an additional $200, and would normally perform maintenance on the amp as I do others, but many buyers prefer to see an all-original amp like this in all its glory as they are becoming more rare.

This 12-watt black panel combo has onboard reverb and vibrato, original black tolex, and a wheat sparkle grille. It has a single 10" Oxford speaker (manufacturer code 465, date code 513). Tubes are an Amperex 5AR4 rectifier, two Sylvania 6V6 power tubes, a 12AT7, and three 12AX7 preamp tubes, including Mullard.  I tested all the tubes to make sure they're good.  Routine service here also includes cleaning the pots, jacks, and tube sockets.

The cabinet, baffle, chassis, and speaker rate near mint with no repairs or changes, and the grille rates near mint as well. The power transformer (Better Coil & Transformer, date code 6601), output transformer (Schumacher 547), and reverb transformer (Schumacher 604) are original, as are the knobs, handle, potentiometers, filter caps, and power cable. It comes with the original Fender cover, which rates excellent, and the original near mint vibrato pedal.
