Fender 1963 Vibrolux 6G11-A Pre CBS Brown Tolex Serviced, Excellent

No sales tax for US customers outside California.

This Fender 1963 Vibrolux 6G11-A in brown is in excellent condition.  It has some wear here and there on the grille and tolex, but the good stuff is all original to the amp, and we've done the service on the amp that you would pay up to $300 to have done elsewhere.

This serviced pre-CBS Vibrolux is a 30-watt combo with original brown tolex, a wheat grille, and an original 12" Oxford speaker (manufacturer code 465, cone code W5330 295). Tubes include a new JJ 5AR4 rectifier, two new JJ 6L6 power tubes, and four 12AX7/7025 preamp tubes (Westinghouse and Sylvania).  All preamp tubes were tested to make sure they're solid, and we cleaned the pots, jacks, and tube sockets while studying and checking the amp prior to listing.

The cabinet, grille, baffle, chassis, and speaker rate excellent. The tolex rates very good, with some scuffs and a visible repair on the top toward the middle. The Schumacher power transformer (date code 314), choke transformer (306), and output transformer (216), the potentiometers, and the speaker are original. The filter caps were replaced by Tracy Sands of Bad Cat Amps, and the power cable has been upgraded. It comes with the original pedal in excellent condition.
