This is a remarkably cool guitar!  Made by Dan in the early, pre-Freakin days, when he was assembling guitars from Fender and other necks/bodies, applying some of the Danocaster love in the process.

This one was originally a Fender reissue, natural finish.  Dan stripped it and sprayed it in Blonde Nitro and gave the neck a feel that is way better than the original poly stickiness found on these guitars.  It's not exactly like his current neck treatment, which was developed in the years after this guitar was sprayed.

The guitar recently made it back to Dan, and he loaded it with Lollar Regal Widerange Humbuckers, Schaller F style repro tuners, and an Emerson Pro harness.

The guitar once had Schaller tuners with offset mounting screws, so the old holes can be seen on the back of the headstock.  Somewhere down the line a nice bone nut was installed.  Frets show plenty of life.  The guitar is light and toneful and a pleasure to play.  Comes with a Studiologic molded hardshell case.
