Beard Copper Mountain Resonator Guitar – USA-Made Round Neck with Hand-Spun Cone & Warm Vintage Tone

This 2010s Beard Copper Mountain resonator guitar was custom ordered by a friend.  The model is quite rare - try to find one out there!

Copper Mountain guitars may have composite material back and sides, but they appear traditional. Solid black in color, the back and sides are shaped traditionally, and while the body is thinner than most dobros, it has a familiar feel. The guitar’s top is made from laminated Finnish birch, and the neck is mahogany.

The custom order feature is the P-90, mounted between the cone and the end of the fretboard.  While some other Beard guitars may have a P-90 in this position, this one is a little different.  The pickup of choice was a stacked P-90, a Mojo Quiet Coil.  The pickup is taller than a standard P-90, which required more depth in the guitar.  Beard did the work to allow use of the pickup, with a custom upcharge.

The previous owner added Ratio tuning machines - stock ones are in the case.  This is a big upgrade over the originals.  

The guitar has been very well cared for.  There are a few signs of use, but I mean just a few!  The frets show light use.  The neck is perfect and the guitar sets up just how you want it to.  

There is a strap button added to the neck heel, otherwise the rest of the guitar is original and issue-free.  

Includes a Gator Pro Series gig bag (a nice one!) and a D'Addario strap with built in "locks".

Shipping policy:
There are two shipping cost options for purchases made on our site for these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.  Select Standard shipping at checkout and your item will be shipped via UPS three-day-air.  Select Economy shipping and your item will ship via UPS ground.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
