This amp is the pinnacle of repurposing - the chassis is from an old film projector unit, turned into a small, lightweight tonal beast.
It's a really nice build, slipped into a cool cabinet.
Simple is best. Volume and tone controls and a low power switch is what you get here. Those who know what's up get that this is a formula for success.
Two US made 6V6s and one 5Y3 are included, adding to the killer sound you get form this awesome package.

At Mars Amplification has a unusual approach to building vacuum tube guitar amplifiers. Collecting salvaged Bell and Howell Filmosound tube chassis from 1940's projectors is the beginning of the process. Next, the chassis are gutted down to the sockets and new custom circuits are wired up using modern reliable components. The result is a hand-wired, point-to-point, all tube, custom amp that uses all new internal components and 1940's iron and hardware. Old stock tubes are tested and reused as well.
Hand built cabinets in custom colors are constructed around each chassis to complete the conversion. Each amp produced by At Mars Amplification is one of a kind and hand built from beginning to end.
