This early 1964 Deluxe Reverb is THE one!
The amp retains all the original transformers, dating to very early in 1964. The original speaker is in place as well, an Oxford 2K5-6 dated from the 51st week of 1953. The tube chart's NE stamp dates to May of 1964.
The amp is pretty much as clean as it gets, and it isn't just clean from someone recently cleaning it, it is near mint.
A full cap service was performed, including the filter caps - a necessary maintenance step.
The power cable is changed to a grounded one.
All the work was cleanly and professionally done.
The amp came to me without a footswitch.
The sounds is simply killer.
Someone noticed that there was a logo applied to the grille at one point, evidenced by three small grille marks that indeed were pushed aside grille fibers from screws being mounted there, so I’ve updated with a slightly lower price. I also took a bunch of pics of the baffle, grille, reverb tank etc. If you care to see them please message me. The last pic shows that the grille is original- there is no wood there to hold a logo, as would be the case for a ‘64.
