Airline has reissued this guitar, but there's nothing like the real thing! And if you're going after one of these, getting one in this condition is the way to go.
The guitar plays as you might assume - it isn't a shredder with ultra-low action all the way up the neck, but it is totally playable just the same. The neck isn't all warped and whacked out like some vintage examples you'll see. Overall you van tell that the guitar has been well cared for.
The bridge saddle was replaced with a wood part that is as charming as the original one you'd find. Other than that, the guitar is repair freed.
This is a really great sounding guitar for slide. There's something about the pickup that lends itself to that sound.
