This 1966 Fender Jazzmaster is a refinished player’s guitar that blends authentic mid-60s Fender craftsmanship with the accessibility of a player-grade instrument. The refinished body shows tasteful wear, preserving its vintage character while offering musicians an instrument they can take on stage without worry.

The body is refinished - the neck has the original finish.  The pickguard looks like a Spitfire replacement - a nice add!

Key features include the original 1966 Fender Jazzmaster neck with rosewood fingerboard, classic offset body design, and traditional Jazzmaster floating tremolo system and a Mastery bridge, delivering the smooth playability and rich tonal palette that defined countless recordings from surf rock to indie and alternative music.

The guitar has been professionally refretted and it received a fretboard planing in the process.  It must have had some serious fretboard divots - there's still one left in the low register.  The neck now plays perfectly and the truss rod is full functional.

The tuners, pickups, pots, tremolo, knobs, and strap buttons are original.

Paired with a hybrid gig bag for protection and portability, this guitar is ready for both studio work and live performance.

There are multiple shipping cost options for purchases made on our site.  Select Ground, 3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day Air Saver.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
