The Fender Custom Classic Player Stratocaster is a premium Custom Shop interpretation of the timeless Strat design, blending vintage style with modern performance upgrades. This 2003 model sports a sleek black finish complemented by an anodized aluminum gold pickguard, giving it a vintage look that turns heads.

Crafted with a select alder body, modern “C” neck profile, and a 9.5" radius maple fretboard, this Stratocaster offers smooth playability for both rhythm and lead work. The trio of Custom Shop Noiseless single-coil pickups delivers a classic Strat tone—glassy highs, scooped mids, and tight lows—while the 2-point synchronized tremolo ensures smooth pitch bends and stable tuning.

This guitar is in near-mint condition, showing only light playwear, and comes fully set up for optimal performance. Whether you’re a collector, gigging guitarist, or studio musician, this Custom Classic Player bridges the gap between Fender’s heritage and modern craftsmanship.

The frets show almost no wear.  The neck is perfect, and there is room in the truss rod for future neck relief adjustments.  There are no changes, repairs, or issues.  The original strap and some paperwork are included in the original case.  There is no certificate of authenticity.

Shipping policy:
There are two shipping cost options for purchases made on our site for these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.  Select Standard shipping at checkout and your item will be shipped via UPS three-day-air.  Select Economy shipping and your item will ship via UPS ground.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
