This 2002 National Delphi Reso-Phonic single-cone resonator is a superb modern build that captures the unmistakable voice and feel of classic National instruments with the reliability and consistency of a modern instrument. Built during the highly regarded early 2000s Reso-Phonic era, this Delphi delivers that iconic metallic bite, woody midrange, and cutting projection that define great resonator guitars.

The instrument is in excellent condition and performs exactly as it should—loud, lively, and full of character. There is some light and superficial wear here and there, and a couple dings on the headstock.  The frets are in beautiful shape with very, very light wear.  This one is ready to play!

The single-cone design produces a focused, punchy response with fast attack and long, singing sustain, making it ideal for slide, fingerstyle blues, roots music, and old-time styles. Notes jump off the strings with authority, chords stay clear and percussive, and the guitar cuts through a mix with ease whether you’re playing solo or with a band. The neck feels comfortable and familiar, encouraging long sessions and expressive playing. This example includes the original case, a great bonus for both protection and collectibility.

As with all instruments at Mahar’s Vintage Guitars, it has been fully inspected, photographed accurately, and professionally evaluated to ensure it plays its absolute best.

We buy, sell, and take trades.
