This 1972 Fender Stratocaster has been around the block for sure, but as many know - the parts are worth a decent chunk of change.
The body is obviously refinished. The neck is not.
The guitar is playable, as is. The original frets are pretty low, but they're playable. The neck checks out and the truss rod is fully functional.
Original parts include the neck, with a September 1972 neck date. The pickups and pickguard are also original, as is the neck plate, pickup selector switch, and screws. The pickup covers, knobs, bridge, pots, output jack cup, and strap buttons are changed.
The tuners are Fender Schaller Elite pegs. The pots are a mix of Dimarzio and Stew Mac parts. I don't know the origin of other changed parts.
As mentioned, the frets are low, but we were able to get the guitar set up nicely. Its a really good sounding guitar too.
Included is an older Anvil style case.
