Gibson Model A1 Mandolin - 1937
$2,100.00No sales tax for customers outside California.
This mandolin is a stunner in person. The pictures really don't do it justice. The original finish is in excellent condition with strong color and limited wear for an instrument of this era.
The top is solid, carved spruce and the back and sides are maple. The body is 10.25" wide, indicative of an early '37, prior to a short lived change to a 11.25" body.
The neck is true and the truss rod has room for adjustment if needed.
Frets are in remarkably good condition.
There are no changes or repairs, no cracks, nada!
