This model is a reissue of the JEM777, in honor of the 30th anniversary of the release of the original, which was the first JEM. It was produced by legendary Japanese factory, FujiGen.

The JEM777 features a basswood body with special "monkey grip" cutout and "lion's claw" tremolo rout bolted to a maple and walnut neck with a 24-fret maple fingerboard with disappearing pyramid position markers. Components include DiMarzio Evolution pickups that include a pair of humbuckers and a single coil in the middle position, the "Edge" trem bridge with a locking nut and a carbon fiber Ultralite arm and Gotoh tuners.

Upgrades from the original version include the neck (the original had a one-piece maple neck with scarf joint), the pickups (the original had DiMarzio PAF Pro pickups) and the frets (the original had 6100 fret wire).

This reissue has an engraved 30th anniversary plate at the neck joint, and comes with the original hardshell case, a COA and the plastic protector is still on the pickguard!  

The guitar is in near mint condition, showing some signs of handling, little play, and with no repairs, changes or issues.  All the original accoutrements are included.  This is a fantastic piece of Ibanez history.

Shipping policy:
There are two shipping cost options for purchases made on our site for these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.  Select Standard shipping at checkout and your item will be shipped via UPS three-day-air.  Select Economy shipping and your item will ship via UPS ground.  For Reverb purchases, there is one cost option for these Eastern states and shipment will be made by UPS three-day-air.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
