A nearly perfect example of an iconic Ibanez design.
The guitar has seen a bit of play, but it has been extremely well cared for. Not a screw has been changed, and it comes with the original hardshell case.
Close inspection reveals a few dings, wear on the pink knobs, and some wear through the finish on the back of the neck. The frets are in excellent condition, perhaps having been dressed once since it left the factory - they have lots and lots of life left.
Our setup guy, Tim, once again did a great setup - the guitar plays perfectly. There is room in the truss rod for future adjustment.
The Jem has always been collectable, but these early ones have really shot up in value in recognition of the excellent build quality and playability, not to mention the distinctive look. You don't have to be a Steve Vai fan to dig it.
The locking latch on the case is no longer functional Everything else concerning the case is just right.

Three day UPS air shipments will be automatic for buyers including these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.
