Offered in collector-grade MINT condition, this 2003 Gibson Les Paul R9 1959 Reissue from the Custom Art & Historic series is a rare and highly desirable model, featuring a genuine Brazilian rosewood fretboard—a feature only available for a limited time due to material restrictions.

This is a one owner piece.  The original owner was a broker of woods, and he sold the wood to Gibson that this guitar was built from.  He purchased this and two other Les Pauls we have in stock, stashed them and never played them.  Everything that came with the guitar from Gibson is included.

Crafted to vintage-correct specifications, this LP boasts a carved flame maple top, lightweight mahogany body, and a period-accurate 1959 neck profile, offering an incredibly resonant and authentic playing experience.

Built during Gibson's golden reissue era, this R9 combines meticulous craftsmanship with premium tonewoods and historic hardware, including Burstbucker pickups, long neck tenon, and lightweight aluminum tailpiece. It comes complete with its original Custom Shop case, certificate of authenticity, strap, Gibson picks, and hangtags.
