I've had a hard time finding other Vs like this, for sale or "sold".  This model differs from the more widely offered '67 style V, the one with the output jack on the pickguard, and follows more closely with the original Flying V that Gibson produced in the late 50s.

This V seems way too clean and unused to expect to see any changes, but one pickup is changed.  This is why we check all aspects of the guitars we post before they go up for sale.  The bridge pickup is a Duncan SH-4 (JB), with the neck position retaining the original Gibson humbucker.  We also think that the output jack plate might be changed.  The texture and look of the piece is different than the white pickguard material, a subtle difference but something to note.  The output jack is original as are the solders there and everywhere else except for the bridge pickup lead.

The rest of the guitar is extremely clean.  Frets show very little wear and they play great with low action.

The guitar comes with a nice "Gibson Custom" case that is newer than the guitar. There is no paperwork or any other documentation included with this one.
