I remember getting these in my shop back in the mid 90's and thinking, "Man, these guitars are gonna look really cool when they're old".  The verdict is in.  I am now old, so are these DOT reissues, and I was right - they look awesome with age!

I am especially fond of these blonde DOT reissues with the gold hardware...

This guitar is 100% original, down to the Shaw pickups with the Pat Appl For stickers on the pickup rings.  The original case is included as well, showing some wear but all latches, hinges and the handle are functional and the case is sound.

The finish has checked and yellowed with age, and the guitar has that vintage guitar smell - not cigarette/nicotine - just that smell.   You know what I mean...

There is one ding, like a small, narrow slice, through the binding on the lower back side of the guitar (pictured).  This is the only wear of note on the body or the neck, other than the overall authentic checking and ageing throughout.

The guitar does need a new nut.  Someone has done some errant and misguided sanding to the nut only, bringing it down a little low.  It plays well as is now, though if you change string gauge you may have string buzz on the D or G strings.  I am going to try to get it replaced quickly, but thought I'd advertise it as is until I can get it done.  The price is set according tot he overall condition, the case condition and the small issue with the nut.  When the nut is changed I'll raise the price by the cost of the replacement.
