This '62 Reissue Esquire from 1986 is a ringer.  It is as rare as any early Made in Japan reissue, and perhaps the coolest model.  

The guitar is in excellent condition.  The pickup has been changed to a Duncan STL-1B - "Our Vintage Broadcaster bridge pickup delivers that classic 50 Telecaster lead tone with extra punch and twang.".

All other parts are original.  A "green" pickguard was applied, which we think looks cooler than the original.  There are no new holes in the guitar from this change, and the original pickguard is included in the case. 

The frets are in excellent condition.  The neck is perfect.  The truss rod has room for future neck relief adjustments.  

The case appears to be original to the guitar.
