This 1954 Fender steel is a real beauty, and it is 100% original right down to the masking tape in the body cavity, dated and signed by Gloria - a name you'll find in many Fender instruments from the period.
Everything on the steel functions perfectly. It does need new strings, so please be prepared to re-string it when it arrives. There are signs of use and wear, but less than most examples I've seen.
The case is worn, but in a good way with a dark amber hue and some wear through the leather ends but with all the hinges, latches and the handle intact.
