There are two versions of the Bloomfield Drive, and most people gravitate toward the big 100-watt 6L6 head. That's a great amp. But I'd argue this one — the 40-watt 6V6 combo — is the one Two-Rock is most excited about internally, and for good reason. Four 6V6s running at 40 watts with power scaling down to 20 is a fundamentally different experience than the big brother. The overdrive character is warmer, rounder, and more compressed in the best possible way, and at gigging volumes you can actually feel the amp breathe under your fingers in a way that a 100-watt amp rarely lets you. This is the format where the Bloomfield Drive's Dumble DNA comes most alive.

This particular example is dressed in fawn tolex — a warm, vintage-leaning finish that sets it apart from the standard gray and black options and looks absolutely right at home next to a great guitar. Silver thread grille cloth, blue accent piping, and Two-Rock's signature anodized chassis complete the picture. It's a handsome combo.

The circuit is the same cascading gain platform as the rest of the Bloomfield Drive line — two channels where the lead channel is a genuine extension of the clean rather than a separate voice — but the 6V6s add a sweetness and harmonic richness to the overdrive that the 6L6 version approaches differently. The clean channel has Two-Rock's characteristic depth and touch sensitivity: notes bloom, dynamics are preserved, and your pick attack does real work. The lead channel adds gain and sustain organically, without losing the fundamental. Engage the foot-switchable tone stack bypass and the amp shifts into another gear entirely — more open, more aggressive, with a complexity that rewards players who actually explore their gear. The all-tube spring reverb is engineered specifically to coexist with the overdrive channel, so you can push both simultaneously without the signal clouding up. Send and return controls let you dial it for the room. Mini-toggle EQ switches for Bright, Mids, and Deep, plus the EQ1/EQ2 voicing switch and a passive effects loop, round out the feature set. The loaded speaker is Two-Rock's own TR1265B 12", voiced for this platform.

At 20 watts with the power scaling engaged, this combo is also a genuinely practical studio and smaller-venue amp.
