The Squier Classic Vibe series has consistently set the standard for what an entry-level Stratocaster can deliver in terms of playability and tone, and the 60s model targets the early-1960s Strat specification — the 9.5" fingerboard radius, C neck profile, three-ply white pickguard, and Fender-designed Alnico single-coils that capture the visual and tonal identity of that era. Candy Apple Red is one of the most iconic Fender custom colors of the 1960s, originally introduced in 1956 and consistently one of the most visually striking finishes in the catalog — red with a metallic base that shifts in different lighting. On a white pickguard Strat it is a combination with genuine vintage credentials.

The Fender-designed Alnico single-coils read 5.67k neck, 5.97k middle, and 6.45k bridge — a graduated set with the bridge noticeably hotter than the neck, which is the correct voicing approach for a Strat that needs bridge-position presence and cut without sacrificing neck warmth. The RWRP middle pickup provides hum-cancelling in positions 2 and 4. C maple neck at .806" at the first fret and .897" at the twelfth is fast and slim, comfortable across the full 21-fret range on the Indian laurel fingerboard at 9.5" radius. Nyatoh body, 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo with original arm, 5-way switching, all original throughout. Near mint condition throughout. Action set at 2/32" on both strings at the twelfth fret. At 8 lbs 4 oz this is a solidly built instrument. No case.
