Gibson Les Paul 1957 Reissue R7 2005 Yamano w/ Bigsby

This 2005 Gibson Les Paul 1957 Reissue R7 is a highly sought-after Yamano-import Custom Shop example, upgraded with a factory-style Bigsby vibrato for added expression while retaining the unmistakable authority of a goldtop-era Les Paul. Yamano-selected Gibson guitars are renowned for their exceptional woods and consistently outstanding tone, and this R7 lives up to that reputation in every way.

This example is in excellent, all-original condition with light fret wear, a perfect neck, a truss rod that has room for future neck relief adjustments, and killer feel.  The original case is included, as is the paperwork.  These often came without a certificate of authenticity in this era, and that is the case here.

The solid mahogany body and carved maple top deliver the thick, harmonically rich midrange and long, singing sustain that define a great ’57-style Les Paul. The humbuckers provide warm, articulate cleans and powerful, vocal overdrive that stays clear even when pushed hard. The Bigsby adds subtle shimmer and expressive movement without compromising resonance, making this guitar especially inspiring for blues, rock, and classic roots styles. The neck profile has that substantial, confidence-inspiring feel players expect from an R7, while remaining comfortable and fast in practice.

I sold this guitar a few years ago to, then just bought it back from my friend Adam Granduciel, fellow gear fiend and front man of the band The War on Drugs.  I'm not going to bug Adam for a certificate of authenticity.
