This 1998 Fender Telecaster ’52 Reissue TL-52DEX2 is a beautifully crafted Crafted in Japan Tele that faithfully captures the look, feel, and tone of the original early-’50s blackguard models.  This is a good one that weights just 7 pounds, 9 ounces.

Known for exceptional build quality and value, CIJ ’52 reissues have earned a cult following among players and collectors. This example features the classic butterscotch blonde finish, lightweight basswood body, one-piece maple neck, and period-inspired hardware that define the quintessential blackguard Tele.

The TL-52DEX2 delivers the Tele’s famous twang, midrange bite, and articulate clarity. The comfortable soft V neck profile and smooth fretwork make this guitar a joy to play whether you’re digging into country bends, snapping funk lines, or dialing in early rock and blues tones.

This 1998 model is in excellent condition, complete with a tweed hard shell case. There are a few dings here and there, but the frets show little to no wear and there are no changes, repairs, or issues.
