This 1955 Gretsch 6191 Electromatic Streamliner is a gorgeous piece that is in excellent cosmetic condition, including the original tweed case.

There are no changes to the guitar aside from the floating bridge.  The original is in the case.  The base of the original bridge is broken.  In its place is a replacement base with a Gotoh tuneomatic bridge.

The original frets are in excellent condition.  The truss rod is nearly tightened all the way, leaving a touch more relief than we'd like, but the guitar is playable as is with some fret buzz when played up the neck.  The guitar could use a neck reset if you want to really dig in and play it as a daily go-to.  We've left plenty of room in the price to allow you to get that work done as these typically go for $2500 to $2800 or so in this condition.

The original DeArmond pickup is so great - one of my absolute favorite pickups of all time.
