This 1978 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe has been converted to LP Standard specs with the addition of a pairs of humbuckers, an Standard truss rod cover, and upgraded pots/caps.

The guitar would be a great collector's version without the changes.  The frets have lots of life left, which makes sense when you see the condition of the rest of the guitar.  There is some arm wear on the bass side of the body, but overall the guitar is in excellent cosmetic condition.

CTS pots are a recent upgrade, along with vintage Westcap paper-in-oil tone caps.  The soldering work was nicely done.  Pickups are a pair of Burstbucker 2s.  Routing of mini humbucker cavities is never perfect, but this guitar looks about as good as it gets.  Someone actually used a router - thankfully not a chisel!

The stopbar tailpiece is changed to a Gotoh.  The tuners are original.

This is a great player with killer tone.  Non original hardshell case included.
