This Ibanez TS10 Tube Screamer Overdrive Classic is the desirable Taiwan Black Label version—one of the most sought-after Tube Screamers thanks to its association with players like John Mayer and countless session guitarists. Built during the late ’80s and early ’90s transition era, the TS10 offers the signature midrange warmth, smooth clipping, and dynamic response of a classic Tube Screamer, but with a slightly more open top end and distinct voicing that many players prefer over the TS9 or TS808.

The TS10 excels as both a standalone overdrive and as a boost to push tube amps into rich, expressive breakup. Known for its touch sensitivity and ability to sit perfectly in a mix, it remains a studio favorite for blues, rock, worship, and alternative players. This example is in excellent working condition, with the original Taiwan Black Label configuration prized by collectors.

Players are vocal about their love for the TS10: “The best Tube Screamer ever made” (The Gear Page), “Perfect for edge-of-breakup tones” (Reddit r/Guitar), “Sits better in a mix than the TS9” (Harmony Central), “Magic with Strat neck pickups” (Ultimate Guitar), and “A must-have for Mayer fans” (MyLesPaul Forum).

The Tube Screamer lineage includes icons such as Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Mayer, Trey Anastasio, and Gary Moore, each helping cement the pedal’s legendary status.
