This 1963 Fender 6G15 reverb unit has near mint curb appeal with some changes under the hood.
I think someone had the chassis out of the box for use in a rack or another amp. They added ears to the chassis and changed the location of the reverb in/out jacks. They also labeled the I/O and the tube locations with sharpie. It is unfortunate, because otherwise this would be a beautifully clean example.
The good thing is that the unit works perfectly. I performed a cap job and changed out the power cable, cleaned the pots and tube sockets, and tested the vintage, US made tubes. This thing is now 100% good to go for decades.
The original transformers and reverb tank are present. Everything else that isn't mentioned here is original as well.

Shipping policy:
When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping. These will require the buyer to install the tubes on delivery. We label the tubes and their positions to make it as easy as possible and we're happy to help on the phone. We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure. Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently. Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping. We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions. If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com. Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
