The Fender Prosonic Head (2000) is one of Fender’s most versatile all-tube amplifiers, designed in collaboration with legendary amp builder Bruce Zinky.

The amp is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition.  The only change is the perforated black metal back screen, which appears to have been cut to accommodate a fan, and it also provides a convenient place to put the power cable, which otherwise has to just dangle off the amp while you carry it around.

Offering 60 watts of power, the Prosonic combines vintage Fender cleans with modern high-gain flexibility, making it a favorite among players who demand tonal variety without sacrificing tube warmth.

The amp features two independent channels:

• A clean channel with Fender’s signature sparkling headroom.

• A gain channel that ranges from crunchy blues grit to saturated overdrive, with cascading gain stages.

With a rectifier switch allowing players to choose between tube rectifier (30W class A), tube rectifier (50W class AB), or solid-state rectifier (60W class AB), the Prosonic delivers an unmatched level of tonal shaping and dynamic response. Shipping policy:

When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping.  These cases require the buyer to do some assembly on delivery.  We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure.  Vintage amps are sold as-is because they can need service intermittently.  Everything is tested here in our shop on the way into our inventory, and again before shipping.  We will cover shipping damage, but we cannot be responsible for the failure of vintage components in 20-to-50-plus year old amps. Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
