Fender 1968 Deluxe Reverb AB763 Drip Edge Silver Panel, Serviced, Very Good

No sales tax for US customers outside California.

This Fender 1968 Deluxe Reverb AB763 in black is in very good condition.  The amp is really clean and in nice shape, but someone did add tilt-back legs to the sides.  It runs solidly and sounds just like it should!

This serviced drip edge silver panel Deluxe Reverb is a 22-watt combo with onboard reverb and vibrato, original black tolex, and a silver sparkle grille. It has a single 12" Eminence Patriot Series Cannabis Rex hemp cone speaker, which is not original and rates near mint. Tubes are a Sovtek 5AR4 rectifier, two EHX 6V6 power tubes, two 12AT7s, and four 12AX7 preamp tubes (JJ and GT).  The tubes were all tested prior to listing to make sure you don't have to buy new ones when you get the amp.  In the process, tube sockets, jacks, and pots were all cleaned.

The cabinet and grille rate excellent, and the baffle and chassis rate very good, with no repairs or changes. The Schumacher power transformer (date code 828), choke transformer (830), output transformer (805), and reverb transformer (850) are original, as are the reverb tank, knobs, handle, and potentiometers. The filter caps were changed, bypass caps were replaced with sweet Sprague caps, and the power cable is a grounded upgrade. It comes with a new pedal, which is not original, and tilt-back legs have been added.
