The Carvin XT112 is an all-tube, channel switching guitar amp that leans on two EL34 tubes for about 50 watts of output.

Forum users champion the amp for its big, full, clean tones, and we agree with that assessment.  It is known to be a great "pedal platform" as well.

The amp provides some extra flexibility with a power switch that allows you to run at half or 25% power.  Furthermore, the effects loop can be assigned to either the clean or lead channel, or both, via the footswitch.  A couple pull pots allow for Bright and Hi Lead settings.  The graphic EQ tops off the tone shaping options after the bass, mid, treble, and presence controls.

The amp is trouble-free and runs strong.  The reverb tank has been swapped for a MOD branded tank.  We tested all the tubes prior to listing to make sure everything is good to go. The original Carvin British speaker (likely made by Eminence) is a good fit for the Marshall-esque tone of the circuit.

Original cover included.

A great workhorse piece.
